Rasizmus Pred nedávnom sme mali na fóre dosť ohnivú debatu ohľadne rasizmu, Rómov a celkovo neznášanlivosti. Ešte pred mojim odchodom do Londýna som chcel k tomu napísať niečo na blog, no akosi sa nedalo. Dnes, po ďalších skúsenostiach to hádam pôjde.
Predtým, než sa pustím do tejto horúcej témy, musím spomenúť niekoľko faktov o krajine, ktorá nesie názov Spojené kráľovstvo Veľkej Británie a Severného Írska (skrátene Spojené kráľovstvo alebo UK - United Kingdom). Kto sú obyvatelia tohto ostrova, niekdajšieho Britského impéria? Územie súčasného Spojeného kráľovstva obývajú obyvatelia, ktorí sa radia k niekoľkým skupinám ako sú Kelti, Rimania, Vikingovia, Anglo-Sasi, no i mnohé ďalšie kultúry sa tu po stáročia vzájomne miešali. Súčasné kráľovstvo vzniklo nástupom Jakuba VI. na trón. Jakub VI. bol škótskym kráľom (syn Márie Stuartovny), po dosadení na anglický trón niesol meno Jakub I. a bol kráľom Anglickým a Írskym.
